My 7 month old English bulldog seems to have a very sore bum periodically   And will not let ANYONE touch his tail and bum area at any cost. I have noticed a sour odour and my other dog seems to be attracted to lick and smell it . I haven't been able to touch him around or under his tail area since the day I brought him home. I had a local vet  try to look at it but  3 clinic workers and the vet had a hard time  claiming it was just a little red but didn't see any major issues.... any adivise?

just wondering if there is something you can recommend for the red around my bully's mouth... it's not a race - just red in color on the white around his mouth... can it possibly be his water bowl?

Hello everyone, My Old English has dirty ears. Her ear wax is very dark so I decided to prevent an infection and brought some Zymox. I put some on last night, as instructed, but it just made things worst! She spent the whole night with discomfort and scratching her ear even more. HELP! I've been unemployed until today and do not have the money for a vet. Is there anything I can do?

I have three English Bulldogs (Belle, Beast, and Lilo), who are all healthy and happy. My only concern is they all have tear stains. They all get wiped daily. I have read about possibly changing their food but hestitate to do this since I have no other problems. Any other suggestions?

Potty training & biting">
Potty training & biting
I recently adopted a bulldog puppy, she's almost 14 weeks. The only problems I have are that she messes in her crate but will bark to get out how do I remedy this? her crate is big enough for her to stand up turn around and lye down. I started only giving her treats outside with lots of praise for going out. She will jump, bark or bite to let me know she wants out. I can't break her from the biting even with playing and affection which leads me to put her in timeout for 10 minutes. She also won't walk down steps and is very adamant about not walking on the leash! She's already 19 pounds and gets quite heavy to carry up and down stairs. Any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure my 9 month old has an interdigital cyst on his back paw. He is not bothered by it and I don't think he knows it's there. It doesn't seem to be healing . I keep it clean and sometimes put neosporinon it. I noticed last night some swelling on his paw above the location of the "cyst". Any recommendations for treatment or do you recommend a vet visit?

Hi! My husband and I recently brought home our 14 week old English bully. He's the best, so lovable. We are in the middle of potty training and wanted to see if anyone had recommendations. We have training pads down in two spots that seem to be his favorite for bathroom breaks. I am also taking him outside for walks when he wakes up from a nap and about 1 - 1.5 hours after eating (that's usually when he has to go #2). There are times that I can't always take him out, such as if I'm in the shower or the middle of a work call, but most of the time in those instances I'll find that he went on the pad.  I reward him when he goes on the pad and when he goes outside. Is there anything else I should be doing? Or could be doing better?

My 9 month old english bulldog will not eat dry food. I have tried several different brands, all expensive too ! Yes ive added warm water and let it soak, and ive added chicken to entice her. She'll eat the chicken but not the dry food. She loves Royal Caine and that is all she will eat. Its for puppies only up to 22 lbs. She weights 50 lbs. What should I do??????? Lucy Lui
