Hello!  We have a 1yr. old English Bully, Agador. We’ve noticed that his urine is killing our grass in the yard. I’m nervous to give him a supplement or pill that is on the market to even out his acid levels. We feed him Wellness, grain free, with a little coconut oil mixed in. Our other dog (an Aussie), has never killed the grass with his urine so I’m baffled on this. Any suggestions?!

Signed,

Tired of our Dead Grass Spots (Jane)

I’m looking to Purchase another English Bulldog from a Breeder.

I Noticed the Mother Had Very Protuding Lower Bottom Teeth that  showed at All Times and Also her Tongue Stayed Out at All Times.

Thats is NOT the Look I’m Wanting for My EBulldog.

The Puppy of hers at this Time LOOKS Perfect and He is 8wks Old.

Will he As he gets Older Become with the Same Traits as his Mother?

PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE if I Need to get Him or If He will Change like his Mothers Teeth and Tongue?

Thank You,

Teresa

We have a new puppy that is 12 weeks old.  Are there any restrictions to not allow the bulldog on grass until they are 16 weeks old? This is our third bulldog and have never heard that but the breeder states that the puppy should not be allowed on grass until 16 weeks.

put the hemrhoid cream on the toe cysts and covered, after a few hours he had bandage off. Next thing I know he’s up all night. Gagged up slime this morning. Then I noticed his face was swollen. Could it be from licking the cream. I gave him Benadryl jus now. Waiting to see if swelling goes down.

Tast of the wild

While on a bulldog facebook page tonight they were talking about dog foods….. we use taste of the wild dog food and some say there had been recalls so i researched it… i didnt find the recalls recently anyway but someone had said they called the company after their dog got sick on totw.  They had told them starting in January 2017 the dog food is still made in the US but they are sourcing the ingredients from China… I came across a blog where alot of people were having problems with totw. All were complaints from the first three months of this year… have you heard of this… I know you recommend this food but wondering if you were aware of the changes? How true are these  … here is the website i read the reviews from:

Hi – I have a 3 year old male bulldog – neutered at 9 months due to enlarged prostate.  He suddenly – within the past 6-9 months – is licking EVERYTHING – tile floor, wood floor, leather couches – us – EVERYTHING!  I asked the vet and all he said was at least I wouldn’t have to mop as frequently – and that they sometimes do this – BUT HE WON’T STOP!  When I really yell at him and he knows I’m watching him he won’t do it – so I think it’s part temper/attention – but he really gets attention when we’re home, so I’m not sure why – suddenly – this just started happening.  Has ANYONE had this problem and has anyone been SUCCESSFUL in getting your dog to stop?

My dog presented liquid stool for a week and I took her to the vet. They did a fecal test and giardia test.  Both came back negative and they gave her antibiotics and put her on prescription food.  Two weeks later, her stool is still pretty mushy and today there was blood in her stool.  They suggested doing the tests again, but I declined because she hasn’t had any new exposure.  Has anyone had this experience?  What did you do?

Knowing that bulldogs have sensitive skin, I’m wondering what is the best flea prevention that you have found for a bulldog.  I have found that bathing him with Dawn will kill once I see that he has a few of them but I would rather prevent even one flea getting on my bulldog.  Any suggestions?

A few quick questions">
A few quick questions

Hi my name is Shawna and I’m doing a research paper for school on breeding Olde English Bulldogges. My family just got a Olde English Bulldogge puppy and we are absolutely in love with him. My husband and I were interested in finding out some more information on breeding our puppy eventually, but we wanted to do some thorough research first and when my English class assigned us a informative paper I decided to make breeding Olde English Bulldogge’s would be a good topic considering we already wanted to do some research anyways. I just have a few questions if you have time to answer them I understand you are probably busy. I will just post my questions and if you get a chance to respond that would be wonderful.

  1. How much does AI usually cost at the vet?
  2. Cost of the C-Section procedure
  3. How many litters can a Bull Bitch have a year?
  4. What’s the cost to register the puppies?
  5. When do the puppies get their tails docked and whats the cost?
  6. The overall cost of breeding a litter of puppies

I understand all Vet’s charge different prices, but if you just had an estimate that would be great. Thank You for your time.
