My bulldog has an area on his paw that is red, swollen and raised just below the hair. I’ve looked and seen quite a few pictures so I know my bulldog has the inter-digital cysts. The only thing I’m not sure of is how to treat the cysts because I’ve seen so many differing methods, most of them being home remedies. Do I have to pop it? Hope not! If someone could please share with me a proven and safe method for treating these cysts on the paws, me and my Bulldog would thank you!
Cysts are typical on the paw for a Bulldog now and again. Rub preparation H on the cysts. Hemorrhoid cream. I know it sounds odd, but it works wonders on inter digital cysts. It will bring the bump down in no time. First soak the area on the paw in warm water and Epsom salt. Then pat it dry with a clean rag. Do the epsom salt routine 3 times a day for 10 minutes. Rub the hemorrhoid cream on it once or twice a day. Not too much is needed. Make sure to rub it in good, then put a small sock over it and tape at the top so your Bulldog can’t lick the cream. The sock also prevents him from licking the cysts directly which would cause more redness and swelling eventually leading to dermatitis or yeast. This should do the trick and get those paws back to normal!
